Summary:

Be part of the Outlet Store team focused on delivering excellent customer experience to customers and members of the BrandsMart USA team

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Team member ensures effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, customer pickup and delivery
• Safely operates rolling and operating hand trucks and other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and merchandising products.
• Unloads trailers of Appliances, Consumer Electronics, and Furniture
• Evaluates products and moves to designated zones for processing
• Responsible for the testing and assembling merchandise
• Assembles and disassembles fixtures for floor plan changes
• Processes receipts and ensures inventories are controlled, monitored and logged
• Ensures customer service through timely, attentive and friendly service during all customer pick-ups and inquiries
• Protects Company assets by following company policies and direction for customer pick-up procedures
• Performs daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening, etc
• Maintains safe/clean receiving area
• Assists customers by delivering items to their car, assisting them in loading and securing of merchandise
• Follows safety protocols and applicable regulations
• Foster a professional working relationship with team members
• Attend meetings and training sessions when required
• Represent BrandsMart Outlet Store in a positive light both internally and externally through sound judgement
• Miscellaneous duties as required, including cross department help as needed once cross trained

Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One years of related work experience

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to lift and move at least seventy-five (75) pounds or more in weight to maintain flow and replenishment of merchandise
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
• Working knowledge or trainable in retail computer systems 
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple ongoing projects and tasks
• Basic English writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Fluency in spoken English (or another language as may be required)
• Basic math skills, including multiplication, addition, subtraction and division, necessary to verify amounts of merchandise being pulled or returned to stock
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all situations
