Social Media Coordinator
Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator will manage and enhance BrandsMart’s presence across key social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Reddit, Google My Business, Apple Business Connect, and Yelp. This role focuses on creating and scheduling engaging content, fostering community engagement, and monitoring performance to ensure social media efforts align with overall business goals. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller, skilled in both content creation and community management, with a keen understanding of social media trends and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos) tailored to the brand’s voice and target audience.
- Ensure consistent posting cadence across all platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and reviews to foster a positive community experience.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and escalate issues when needed.
- Track and report KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, and clicks.
- Identify insights to optimize content and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with campaigns and business objectives.
- Recommend platform-specific tactics and creative approaches.
- Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of social media management experience, preferably in retail or consumer brands.
- Strong writing, visual design, and basic video editing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
