Graphic Designer

BrandsMart USA  ·  Ft. Lauderdale, FL (In-Office)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Graphic Designer supports the development and execution of high-impact visual assets across BrandsMart's digital, print, and in-store channels. This role plays a key part in bringing promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and brand messaging to life through clear, engaging, and conversion-focused creative.

Working closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing team, this role contributes to day-to-day creative production — spanning email, social, video, and print — while building expertise in retail, promotional, and omnichannel design within a fast-paced environment.

CORE FOCUS AREAS

  • Promotional & Retail Creative Execution
  • Email Design & Deployment
  • Social Content & Light Video Production
  • Print, In-Store & Large-Format Design

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotional & Retail Creative Support

  • Design and resize creative assets for tentpole campaigns, weekly promotions, and financing offers.
  • Support production of assets across email, website, paid media, direct mail, and in-store signage.
  • Execute layout updates, pricing changes, and product swaps quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure visual consistency across channels under guidance from senior creative leadership.

Email Design

  • Design email creatives with strong layout, hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness in mind.
  • Prepare assets for email deployment, understanding basic HTML structure and constraints (no coding required).
  • Ensure designs are optimized for readability, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
  • Build and QA emails within an ESP; experience with Zeta Global is a strong plus.
  • Apply best practices for accessibility, image-to-text ratio, and rendering across major clients.

Social Content & Light Video Production

  • Create motion graphics for Instagram, Facebook, and other priority platforms — including text animation, product highlights, and promotional messaging.
  • Edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikTok-style) for pacing, engagement, and brand alignment.
  • Adapt campaign creative into social-friendly formats, dimensions, and aspect ratios.
  • Produce light video edits using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Canva; comfort with basic transitions, captions, and audio sync expected.
  • Support content calendars with timely creative delivery.

Print, In-Store & Large-Format Design

  • Design and produce print-ready files for in-store signage, direct mail, flyers, shelf talkers, and promotional collateral.
  • Set up files to print specification: bleeds, crop marks, color profiles (CMYK), and resolution standards.
  • Collaborate with vendors and operations to ensure files are press-ready and accurate.
  • Support large-format and OOH executions as needed, including banners, window graphics, and display signage.
  • Maintain organized, versioned file structures for all print assets.

Omnichannel Production & Execution

  • Apply strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy to improve readability and conversion across all formats.
  • Work efficiently within design systems to ensure consistency across high-volume outputs.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from concept through final delivery — digital and print.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Media, and Operations teams to meet deadlines.

Creative Growth & Development

  • Understand what makes creative perform across email, paid media, social, and print.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance insights.
  • Take feedback constructively and apply it to improve creative quality.
  • Stay current with social platform trends, video formats, and digital design best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of graphic design experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or promotional environments.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, promotional creative, email, social, and print work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Figma.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up print-ready files: bleeds, CMYK, resolution, and vendor specs.
  • Working knowledge of light video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Canva.
  • Working knowledge of email design best practices and basic HTML structure.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in pricing accuracy, layout consistency, and alignment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
