Delivery Manager
Summary:
The Delivery Manager is responsible for the inventory management of the store, including product placement, loading product for deliveries, and receiving product in from vendors or as customer returns. The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations as well as developing the delivery team to ensure the store is exceeding customers’ expectations. Will also assist in merchandise handling such as loading, securing, delivering, setting up, troubleshooting, and demonstrating products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Oversees all Delivery Specialists to ensure efficient delivery of merchandise, including coaching, mentoring, and issuing corrective action when required with assistance from management
- Partners with Store Manager to ensure inventory levels adhere to company guidelines in warehouse
- Verifies correct products and accessories for deliveries, returns, and from vendors
- Creates delivery schedule and ensures it is followed by Delivery Specialists
- Assists with merchandise returns, including loading and servicing products in vehicle
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of shipping/receiving or related logistics
